Our current risers were bought when the school was first built. They are too large for our stage, so I have to push our students all the way to the back and out of the spotlight. We have also outgrown our risers. Only about 100 3rd graders can fit on the risers, and some classes have 130 students. It's nearly impossible to fit our growing 5th graders! Most importantly, new risers will be MUCH SAFER. These new risers will have a back rail so our little ones can't fall off the top row. Side rails will also stop any child from being knocked off the edge as we fidget out our nerves! These versatile risers can be modified for large groups or small, so they are perfect for all performances. They store nicely and set-up easy (a huge help to our amazing custodial staff). It's a major investment, but they will last for decades. Let's show our kids how important it is to support and invest in the arts!
