The idea I am trying to incorporate is a reading corner filled with bean bags, mood lighting and great reads. I would like my classes to have the opportunity to enjoy what they're learning, and feel confident in their beginning stages of language. As I enter my first year of teaching, I find that many of my students lack reading confidence. It's a struggle they've faced the minute they fall behind in curriculum. As my teacher did for me, I hope to provide an active library for my class, suited with privacy chairs, bouncy yoga balls for hyperactive students and moving library carts.
