The composition notebooks I am asking for will help my students flourish into strong and confident writers. The more they practice the better they will get. These materials will allow students to go through the different stages of writing before publishing their own pieces. Most importantly the blank books will help my students see themselves as authors after creating their very own book! After the books are complete they will be able to share it with others during our publishing party! By obtaining these writing items I will be able to motivate my students to see themselves as authors. Donating to this project will help ignite a passion for writing to some amazing first grade students that desperately need immediate growth in this skill.
