Having iPads in the first grade classroom will allow all students access to the rich instructional materials available to our classroom through technology. We seek to provide all students with opportunities for remediation, acceleration and enrichment activities. We look forward to preparing our students for the 21st century classroom. iPads are a key part to helping first grade students understand and use technology for assessments, active engagement lessons, collaboration and exploration. Our students would have access to programs that will help to provided meaningful, engaging practice. The iPads will also allow students to dig deeper into rigorous curriculum standards, complete research and share individual digital portfolios. First grade students can show what they know and document daily classroom learning. It's time to empower young learners to feel comfortable and confident when using iPads and technology.
