The 2019-2020 school year will be my first year in the classroom as a full time teacher. I am so excited to start preparing my classrooms and especially to meet my students in September. I am dedicated to supporting my classroom in all ways that I can, but unfortunately I need a little help getting started. Our children are our future; let's get them excited to learn! My students range from 3 to 5 years old. For some of my students, this will be their first experience in the classroom. Pre-k can be such a magical time, but unfortunately many of the resources in my classroom are outdated, broken, or missing. I have created a list of classroom essentials ranging from social emotional tools, puzzles and games, books, and dramatic play materials. I hope to build a new classroom full of opportunity for my students to learn and play. I believe that we learn best through hands-on experience and interest. I wish to provide my students with as many hands on opportunities as I can with real life (or as close to it) objects and materials.
