I work on my students' minds AND hearts. Many of my students struggle with anxiety and often would choose to stand while taking notes, which can be a challenge. Not all students can sit still during the course of a class period and remain focused. The sit-stand mobile desk option will allow students to participate in class in comfort when feeling anxious. The stand up work stations will provide an option for students who struggle to remain seated during the course of a class. Anxious and active students need options when taking part in class notes and discussions. This is often a relief for anxious students.
