This school year, I was given an opportunity to begin my own project based learning classroom. This is a new learning environment and did not include book shelves and flexible seating for our students. We want our 52 students to be able to come together on the carpet to have community circle conversations that inspire them to become a classroom community, be problem solvers, work together, develop new ideas and projects together, and most importantly learn how to become life long learners! The shelves will be used to store classroom books that will be used for their learning as well as to store projects that students create.

About my class
