The rug will help in assigning places for students to sit and learn in the classroom. Students will have assigned spots on the rug, distanced from other kids, increasing safety protocol. The carpet markers will help students know where to sit during independent reading time and during collaborative work time. Carpet markers can also be used to show students where to line up, where to eat lunch, where to enter and leave the classroom according to COVID protocol and safety measures. Both of these tools will create a safe and fun learning space.
