I believe that the books I have selected will make a profound difference in how my students understand what it means to be a human being and the thrill of being alive at this particular moment in time. That no matter where you are in life, where you have come from, that you have a responsibility to make a positive difference in the world. I believe reading will encourage my students to glean from the wisdom of others (through reading) how to make the most out of your life, to be the very best, so that they can give the very best to others. I hope to open not only their minds but their hearts as well to experience the diverse richness and beauty of life in all it's manifestations.
