As a small school serving a rural population, my students have great potential but limited opportunities to develop their potential in STEM and the life sciences. Materials chosen for this project will support six classes including General Biology, Honors Biology, AP Biology, and Human Anatomy & Physiology. Thank you very much for supporting my students' opportunities in STEM and health sciences. Hands on opportunities for inquiry and authentic science practices develop students' soft skills, appreciation for the world around them, their environment, and their communities. Students learn to combine critical thinking with ethics to investigate (and potentially solve) authentic problems.
