Yoga is beneficial to help flexibility, balance, and muscular strength. It also helps my girls clear their minds and calm them down. These mats will replace the older mats that have been used for the past five years. My students deserve to have nice, clean mats to help them learn their new poses. My students will learn the four basic poses: prone (belly poses), supine (back poses), seated, and standing. While learning these poses together, my girls will build trust and relationships with each other. As a culminating event, my students must create a complete yoga workout routine using at least 15-20 different poses. Each group has the opportunity to teach their routine to the rest of the class.
