Students will take a hands-on learning approach to computer and physical science standards. They will get to work at their own pace when their interest is sparked. They will have the ability to work in groups or independently depending on their level of interest and involvement. STEM activities are something that are sought after for a reason. They provide opportunities for my students to interact with peers, while problem-solving and using time management skills. This hand2mind STEM kit will provide my students with the opportunity to explore multiple science standards through exploration of programming and minerals. They will be able to extend their learning beyond our given curriculum and engage in content that interests them. This is something that will be used daily in a classroom exploration station to meet students needs at a time that is appropriate and beneficial to them. My hope is that this is so successful we can share it with the other class in our building and even other schools in our district.
