Throughout this unit, students will research the spread of diseases and ways to prevent/stop them, the medias effect on these infectious diseases, and credible sources . Spreading the word about disease prevention is the is the reason behind the camera! My students will have the opportunity to explore various communicable diseases. Then they will research the effect media has on the spread and/or prevention of diseases. Many resources are available online but not all are reliable, so they will research what exactly makes sources credible. After their extensive research they'll put their creativity to the test, creating a media message for the public about the prevention of diseases.

About my class
