Fun games and toys help keep students engaged and can be used with a variety of speech and language goals. These toys and games also elicit language production and help target speech sound carry-over. When children are enjoying a game or a toy, they are greatly increasing their use of language, vocabulary, and social skills. Toys and games get kids talking and makes it much easier to monitor their speech sounds at a conversational level. Many times students are not motivated or are embarrassed to participate in speech/language therapy. These fun games and toys will help motivate them and increase their success rate with their speech and language goals.
