The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a purpose and place for them to be used in the classroom. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! The large carpet will be placed in the front of the classroom and used as a gathering place during mini-lessons and share time. The composition notebooks will be for each student to record and analyze data that they collect throughout each science lesson along with the crates for each class to organize. The legos, magnetic clix, and lincoln logs will be used to create collaborative play amongst the lower grades. The USB charging station is for robots we use frequently. Finally, the wireless speaker and sketchbook are used by me so that the students can hear and see what I am teaching on the projector screen. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of the world around them and how to make it better. By providing these necessary tools learners will be able to see themselves as real scientists by recording and analyzing data as they learn. We will use these materials to aid us in the process of becoming life-long learners of science and the world in which we live. As the teacher, I have done extensive research on the importance of exploration and experimentation. Yet I truly need your support to make this a reality for these children.
