My students would be so thrilled to have a new and cozy place to read! The flexible seating will give them a unique place to enjoy reading outside of the normal desk seating. The bean bag chairs, pillow, and rug will give my students a comfortable place to sit to get excited about reading! Currently, my students only have the option to sit at their desks, or at the table. However, with these new seating arrangements, it would motivate them to WANT to read. Making reading fun for students is important to their growth in the classroom. My hope is that the flexible seating would be a significant first step in fostering a love for reading for these young students.
