"You may now PICK YOUR SEATS to do you work!" - When my students hear me say this, I see a different type of motivation glimmer in their eyes. I believe it is important to allow students to voice their learning preferences. A comfortable & flexible work environment means so much to my 1st graders! They enjoy the freedom of doing their assignments, all while being comfortable. This freedom allows students to feel empowered by making a choice on their learning environment. I would use the Write & Wipe Mobile Student Desk and Comfy Seats during independent, partner & group work. Adding these seating choices will allow my students to pick the best environment for them. Every student learns differently!
