The materials that I have in my list will help students get a hands on experience with learning. The character education books will allow students to consider other points of view and expand their horizon of people that are different than them. Having supplies like legos and magnet tiles can expand our lessons in math and science by providing hands on experiences. The character education books will allow us to have conversations about our differences and what makes us the same. I believe it is important for students to have many avenues to broaden the horizon of learning. Hands on STEM materials allow for this to happen.
