My students ask me everyday if we are going to play basketball. They love playing and being active and I want them to keep that excitement for being active. Team sports are a great way to develop teamwork and self-confidence. This will help my students practice teamwork and learn how to truly work together and trust each other. During my lessons, I will teach them the basics while helping them understand the game and life. Also, basketballs can be used for more lessons other than just basketball. For example, I can put information on the ball and play a game about nutrition.
