A book can take you anywhere and it's it my hope that with these books I can spread the joy of reading. This library consists of read aloud classics like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and My Father's Dragon as well as chapter books the 2nd graders will be working towards reading independently. From Lynn's Backpack to the Magic Treehouse series, our classroom will be filled with endless adventures through your generosity. While developing strong readers is a must, cultivating their kind hearts is also a priority. Our library will also be filled with books that educate students on how to be a kind friend, how to sort through difficult emotions and how to always persevere. In addition to our library, this project consists of hands on materials and visuals that will reach all different learning styles. From blocks to number lines to phonics fishing games, our community will be filled with so much joy and learning!
