In our class, we discuss everything from being a teenager, pregnancy, relationships, parenting, child development, abuse, and so much more. Students often time find it difficult to express their own issues and feelings. Books have a way of allowing us to relate to others who experience some fo the same things we go through. I have chosen a wide variety of books, that relate to many of the topics we cover in class. My hope is to create mini book clubs that will encourage students to share, learn, and grow. Help me make this a reality, to give my students a chance to experience life in a book. In addition, this opportunity will expand literacy development, while we work remotely. Thank you!
