This is my first time working in the school district as a school Behavioral Health Professional. I want to create a room that supports and promotes social and emotional learning and an environment where our children can come in and feel relaxed and at ease. I want to include posters and charts in the class with motivational quotes and encouraging phrases for students to read. I also would like to have a printer so we can print from the classroom in real-time. I would love to have a carpet so that we can get on our students' level and sometimes do play therapy. This is my first time in the school, so anything will help.
