We are requesting two iPads. Not all students learn the same, so I need devices to help reach them in the ways that they learn best. iPads will help me differentiate the content that students need and the way that it is delivered since we don't currently have any student-use technology in my room. Hands-on, engaging learning can change a student's educational journey. Allowing them to enjoy learning sets the tone for all of their future educational endeavors. Many of these students have experience with and enjoy utilizing technology, so using iPads to help them learn is a great way to apply the tech skills that they already possess. These iPads would be used in multiple ways within our classroom. Students would access the iPads during centers, whole group learning, and small group instruction. Each iPad would be prepared with interactive, learning games that students could use to practice their skills and the content that we've covered in class. Students visit three centers per day, and iPads would increase their desire to play and learn during center and small group time.
