I'd like to offer movement in an otherwise immobile day. With Physical Education classes being cut, flexible seating offers students the opportunity to quietly fidget, wiggle and adjust posture as they learn. It is my goal to have students walk into my room and select the seating that best suits their needs. I want my students to feel comfortable and relaxed while we navigate some potentially awkward and uncomfortable topics. Offering movement in an otherwise immobile day sparks interest, captures attention and creates a comfortable learning environment. It is my goal to create a safe place where students are excited to learn and are eager to contribute as we explore some of life's most delicate subjects.
