The current sensory room that I am working with has little to no sensory items for the students who will be utilizing the space. The room is a shared office for multiple departments. I strongly desire to provide students with sensory processing difficulties a safe space to deescalate. Students of all grade levels in this elementary school will have access to this room, but it is not properly equipped to accommodate the students and their unique needs. These materials will be used to give the current sensory space a make-over that will improve the learning and behavior management experience for the students in special education at this school.
