Students are eager to learn the second most spoken language in the world that will most likely open up many opportunities. For students to master the language a variety of tools are needed to reach the objectives in the Spanish curriculum. The use of technology tools and reading books is the top priority that my students choose to learn with. Utilizing these tools allows the students to develop the skills whether it is working independently or as a whole/small group. Students are so fascinated with the technology options available to enhance language learning. Unfortunately, our small school and district receives limited funds. Content subjects have the first choice to be given resources needed for their curriculum. Many of our students are from low income families that have no access to technology use or able to go to a library. If tools are provided it will be a huge advantage for both my students in I. It will help develop the connection to the world of language.
