For the next two years, our whole school will be placed into modular buildings on another elementary school campus while our brand new building is being constructed. Because the rooms will be small and we will be separated by grade level, it is so important that I create a warm and inviting classroom environment! There are many ways I can achieve this but creating a cozy classroom library is a small way I can make a big impact! Not only will students feel comfortable in their classroom, they will also be drawn to the library. I am hoping this will inspire them to hunker down and read many books throughout the year! All summer, I have been organizing my classroom library books by reading level. This will allow students to find an appropriate book based on their reading level. What better way to read that "just right" book than in a "just right" library! A little library can inspire some very big ideas!
