The 2020 school year is uncharted territory. Students and teachers alike are having to rethink and overhaul the entire educational experience that is "school" due to COVID-19. My students are beginning this school year virtually, with the hopes of returning to the school building for in-person learning as soon as safely possible. My at-risk students are in in need of these basic supplies. They will no longer be able to share classroom supplies due to the health risks, and will be asked to bring their own. I am fearful that the financial strain of purchasing their own school supplies will create anxiety for students and their families. As an English Language Arts teacher, we use these supplies every day in my class. These items will allow me to provide my students with the supplies they need to be successful!
