These items will be used to help foster my students growth of learning about there emotions and body movements. I've recognized that many students are more engaged when they have the opportunity to sway, wiggle, or keep their feet busy. The variety of flexible seating, and weighted lap pads, will allow students to learn in their comfort zone. A flexible space provides choice and enhances engagement and student learning. By donating to our classroom, you are helping students construct ways to understand how they can learn best as well as their growing knowledge of controlling their emotions. Through your donation, the flexible space tools will help the students in our classroom focus through small movement. The variety of items related to emotions will continue the class' discussions of social skills. Learners will also be able to effectively collaborate with peers during mini-lessons or work time to build a strong classroom community.
