All of our units culminate in a creative project and my 60 students will need art supplies to create posters, diagrams, tri-fold presentations, comics, brochures, models, and other products! As a language arts teacher, it's also incredibly important for me to help my students develop and keep a love of reading. My students are very interested in mangas this year and I would love to add to our classroom library and make sure I have titles they're excited to read! This project would benefit my students greatly and it would enable me to take them further with our units. Specifically, in our first unit students will be tasked with creating a 3D timeline of the Civil Rights Movement. These supplies will help me give them options when it comes to which medium they would like to use to create their timeline.
