The idea behind this project is to create a classroom library where my students can find a book at their reading level that they enjoy to evoke a passion and love of books. "Reading should not be presented as a chore, or a duty, it should be offered as a gift" - Kate Dimacillo. Finding an interesting book can be tricky for some students. Kids who read 20 minutes a day at home are 80% more successful on testing than those reading 1 minute a day. Reading matters! Help me provide these kiddos with the gift of reading and endless opportunities.
