The past 10 months of virtual learning have been anything but easy, for both teachers and students. My kindergarten special education class has persevered and continues to show progress and grit. Now that we are in a hybrid learning model, i have students learning from home, while others learn in person. As an intervention specialist, i have to provide instruction for both groups, simultaneously. The classroom ipad will break the barrier between remote learners and in person learners. By using the ipad in the classroom, to reach remote learners, i will be able to continue the valuable instruction and relationships built between both sets of learners. Students in person will be able to collaborate with students who continue to learn remotely. Implementing the use of an ipad in the classroom, will continue to allow the progression of fundamental social and academic skills for my classroom of kindergarten students.
