All first grade students were made to move. They are able to concentrate and do better work if given different seating options during the day. Our school encourages flexible seating, but it is up to the teachers to implement it within the classroom. The seating options that I selected will be used to create six unique spaces within my classroom! I will have a laptop table, floor tables with mats, "yoga" balls for core stability work, high tables with stools, traditional chairs with desks, and floor pillows with clip boards.
