A rug for our classroom would be fabulous for us to gather for reading time! We meet daily for instruction for math and reading. My students also do many small group and center activities on the floor and this would be much more comfortable for them. A clean, soft, inviting rug will help the children feel comfortable and welcome in their classroom. The rug will help the environment of our classroom to help define different learning spaces. Our class listens to stories often with our general Reading curriculum and the Read to be Ready program we use in first grade.
