My children get so excited for “brand new” books. These books will provide an opportunity for all of my students to read a new novel together as a whole class, partner read or independently read. These books will enhance our learning opportunities and encourage all to read. With these new books, we will integrate these novels into our STEAM curriculum that will incorporate collaboration, critical thinking, communication, creativity and community. The children enjoy the opportunity to apply into real world situations. They become more engaged readers. These books will then become a part of our classroom library where children may select and read for another time or purpose.
