These books will not only expand my classroom library, but they will also increase the chance for my students to have some hands on learning about historical and scientific events. I plan on creating hands on research projects that include these texts. My students will read the stories in small groups with a partner and create dioramas, posters, essays, and PowerPoint projects using these books and our classroom Chromebooks. I already plan on completing novel studies during our reading time; and this is just one more way to help with my students' comprehension, fluency, and technology skills in the classroom.
