Listening is a great skill to teach in PreK. The students will have many different types of audio books to help them learn things from sharing to their colors or numbers. This center will allow the students to interact with books before they even learn to read. It will also allow students to learn about book orientation. These young students will enjoy songs, rhymes, math, and social emotional learning all at one center. Being engaged during center time is extremely important for children of this age. It is also important that they learn to be independent during center time. This center will allow them to be both independent and engaged.
