I will use the Osmo devices with iPads at a center during small group time to reinforce skills already learned such as letter recognition/sounds, numbers/math, shapes, reading/spelling, etc....to explore new skills in coding with the Coding Awbie and Coding Jam games. Students will have the opportunity to explore the Osmo universe with hands-on learning and digital fun as a rotation during center/small group time. With multiple learning games available and more coming out all the time, the learning opportunities are endless. Having students engaged in learning independently during center time is really important. It frees me up to focus on my small group lesson while knowing all students are still learning.
