The materials that I chose will be used to supply scholars that are unable to buy materials to feel comfortable with knowing that supplies are available and they do not have to be ashamed of not having the materials that they need to learn the art of crocheting. They will also use the materials to create beautiful gifts for the homeless and domestic violence victims. The lesson that I will be teaching is showing scholars about the connections that are made between creating a gift and freely giving back to the community by giving to those in need. It will also give them characteristics that will develop them into better, caring and empathetic adults.
