Students who have learning differences require differentiated classroom instruction to meet their diverse needs. This means that depending on the student, they may require instruction in all different group sizes, from small-to-large, as well as to learn to work independently in academic subject areas as well as social skills and behavioral instruction. The transition​ from table to table can often become a source of frustration and stress for my students due to noise level and change. These modular and collaborative desks will allow my students to transition from independent work, small group work, and large group work with ease while still allowing each student their own individual desk space.
