Every student deserves to learn the fundamentals of art and how they use that knowledge to be creative. I am trying to be sure that every student has their own paint materials for art class. My students seek to share art with not only their peers and the teacher, but with their community. In art class, we create art that gets displayed for others to see and enjoy. Students have fuel for creativity when they have options for the materials that they can use on their artworks. I have seen how just one or two more options of materials can engage a student to invest in what they create and I hope that the option for painting will allow them to reach the creative potential that is within each of them.

About my class
