I am a second grade teacher in a Title I school in a rural community. When I was growing up in this area- in this same school- most students came from similar backgrounds, but through the years our community has grown. We now have lots of students that have moved in from other areas and their social and economical backgrounds vary drastically now. I want to make sure that all of my students have the skills and knowledge that they need to succeed!
