I teach general music and choir to 507 students in grades K-5. My students are smart, inquisitive, and kind. They are hard workers and take every opportunity to learn. In music class, students engage with standards using a play and discovery-based curriculum called Orff-Schulwerk. This curriculum utilizes many forms of interaction with music, including lots of instruments. Students love experimenting with the sounds, feels, and possibilities of instruments.
