These guided reading texts will help me both assess and instruct my students in Spanish. The set of 12 texts complement the units of study that we address throughout the year. I will sit down with a group of 5 students at a time to give them personalized instruction and get to know each of my students' strengths and weaknesses in reading and spoken Spanish. Students will respond to the text in Spanish, ask questions in Spanish and gain a higher level of vocabulary through these lessons. All of this will be made possible by gathering around a shared text that students will be able to hold in their hands.
