Projects will be based on real-world examples with an emphasis on the engineering process. Students will begin by designing their project, planning how they will create that project, and then creating it with the doodler pen. After they are done they will evaluate their design to see how they can improve it. The 3D aspect of these pens adds a whole new dimension (literally!) to their learning and ability to fully "see" what they are doing. Perfect for visual learners and students who need tactile activities. The doodler pens will allow my students to experience what an architect or engineer does and apply the basics of geometry, physics, and form to their designs. This type of learning can't be done on a computer screen since it only displays images in two dimensions and is ideal for students who are visual and need activities that are based on tactile experiences.
