Most of my students have never really seen outside of Oklahoma or even their home town. I believe these maps will help me describe what else is out there. I am hoping this will make them believe they can go on adventures and see and learn on this journey outside their comfort zone. I really believe that these maps could open their minds to other places, cultures, food languages and people. They can make them realize that there is so much more out in our world and they don't need to be afraid to go forward. They just need to know they have the opportunity to go out there.

About my class
