Mathematics classrooms are very stressful for many students. Many students come into math classes with an idea that they do not have mathematical abilities and that the class will be difficult leading to a sense of apprehension simply walking into the room. By having colorful and unique seating options, students can choose a location and seat that makes them the most comfortable. A choice as simple as a seat creates a sense of ease that cannot be overlooked. Allowing students voice and choice in the classroom will give them a level of comfort and confidence that would not be possible otherwise.

About my class
