I'm beginning my 6th year teaching in a new space and while I have acquired many items in my classroom over the years, I've equally not held on to some. This project will allow me to start the year on the right foot, to ensure my students have everything that they need in this space to be the most successful students that they can be in their 7th and 8th grade years. The goal of the items in my project is to install self sufficiency for my students in their own personal space. From pencils, to markers and cleaning supplies, students will have access to a beautiful space and the ability to have authority in maintaining this space. In addition to this, these items will give students the specific tools they need to begin their 7th and 8th grade years strong.
