Math manipulates will help my students from various backgrounds and abilities to access math in a way that they can relate to it outside of school. From kindergartners who are learning to count to first graders learning place value and second graders learning time, accessing math with manipulatives allows them to play with their learning. Giving students a hands-on learning experience allows them to take gears of their learning and explore it in depth. Their success with math will increase and be more likely to be applied to their daily living if it became accessible and tangible when they are learning their math lessons.

About my class
