These materials will provide my students not only academic enrichment, but also emotional basics skills in their first language. It will also expose them to some of the best known children's books such as Eric Carl's books. My kindergarten bilingual children need the Spanish literature to have a strong and solid foundation to later succeed in the second language acquisition. This year I will put more emphasis in the Spanish Language learning process and I am sure that these materials will facilitate and make the activities fun and interesting for my students and their parents. Hands-on activities using the letter tiles in Spanish and attractive books will create an atmosphere of interest and fun for my 5 and 6 year-olds.
